The first thing that I noticed about this shot was the amount of noise it had - not really worth posting. But then I thought about the moment that I had captured - the moment sure was worth sharing inspite of the technical flaws in the image. And thus the post!

Me and a friend happened to go to a small rural settlement called Yamuna Pushta near the heart of Delhi. It is one of the few places in Delhi where you can actually see agriculture first hand! This though, was taken on the city streets en route to the rustic world. I was at this traffic intersection and there was some time for the lights to go green. These kids in the car in front were an absolute joy to watch. Now an image taken with the subjects filtered through the windscreens of two cars that have driven around in Delhi would obviously have a lot of noise if not anything else - just a sign of how much dust and pollution we throw into the atmosphere.

There's nothing like childhood - when there aren't any worries in the world. The girl seems exhausted after a day's outing, she probably is wondering how long will it take for her to reach home so that she can catch up on her sleep. I just loved the way the boy kept on smiling the whole while. God Bless the kids.
