Rain water harvesting at its humblest form. Back in my native place, when it rains continously, people keep containers outside in the rain to collect the rain water. This water is used for washing dishes and preparing feed for the cattle etc. This was a practice followed since long. I believe people in the past understood the essence of preserving water and passed on this understanding to their kids. I wish the world soon understands this simple concept and the wasteful use of natural resources is stopped. If our ancestors could understand it and do it for us, why can't we do the same for our future generations?
Now for the shot - well, I had been thinking about capturing details for some time. And this is a part of my "details" collection. I sharpened it and gave it a tint to achieve this color - somehow seemed better than the original.
