The challenge of trying to get a close-up shot of an insect in the grass is that the slightest movement by the subject or the camera, causes the focus to go wrong. Then I decided to narrow the appreture down, but that resulted in a lot of grass to be in the focus too. While I balanced out the aperture and tried moving the focus ring minutely with every movement from the subject, my arms started aching - and thats when I decided to settle for the next shot, however it turned out. The above being the result.
By the way, a Happy Easter to everyone. Enjoy your holidays!
