photoblog image Saturated!

Saturated!

I mean the image - I have this new passion - to de-saturate images and take some color off. Gives the shots a classic feel. Though with this one I couldn't do it too much lest I spoil the mood of the shot. Almost every shot which I select for PP, the first thing that occurs to me is to de-saturate :)

The credit for this shot should go to the subject - this sea gull gave me enough time to change my lens, focus and take 4-5 shots before it got bored and flew off. I wish you get a nice dinner my friend.

Shot at the Whitby beach on a sunny afternoon - something we had been lasting for more than a week.

nice shot.. it feels great when birds pose for us, especially if it give us some time to change the lense and prepare the shots as well.

I have been on a long roll, Thomas, with de-saturating my images. I'm not sure what it is. Digital photography can allow saturation out the wazoo. Sometimes it's refreshing to go the other direction. We're on the same page! smile
