Chilling out

Another shot of the river - can't resist looking at these. The swim was the best part of my day, I wish i could do this everyday. Thats my Dad in the foreground and my uncle in the background with his youngest son. If there is one secret to good health i discovered - its a swim in the river daily :-)

The rocks in the background have taken their shape over the years with the flow of water over them. There are tunnels in the rocks deep in the water - my Dad recalls how in his childhood he and his brothers used to dive into the water and maneuver themselves through those tunnels which were just big enough to hold kids of their size and swimming through these required precise knowledge of where each turn in the rock was.

Another "requenching" capture, Thomas. I love that it holds the people that are dear to you. So glad to meet your dad, especially! Does he visit your site here and will he see this? I hope so.

When I think of his memories as a little boy, swimming underwater through the tunnels, it scares the bejesus outta me!
Thomas Mathew: I'm glad you liked the shot Ginnie. Dad does see my work once in a while. I hope he bumps into this one smile
Agree with your idea of swimming for health ! Nice candid picture Thomas smile

Magnificent, look at the beautiful detail in the water, the ripples and the happiness. What more can anybody want from a picture? smile

The water looks so inviting... I just feel like jumping in....
