This is a river that runs at a 10 minute walk from my native home. The walk is through thick rubber plantations and I have never seen sunlight even once in 5 days because of the heavy trees all around. It takes some courage to walk through this dense growth, but once you jump into the river, you feel that the walk was worth its effort.

Thats my cousin diving into the water, and my uncle in the background was happy to be back at the river after a long time. There's no better reprieve from the heat than being in the river for a couple of hours (actually I used to be there even more than that, my folks had to literally pull me out of the water :D)

It definitely looks "requenching," Thomas. I can see why the walk was worth it.

Is your uncle as young as he looks???
Thomas Mathew: The river is a great place to be in the Summer Ginnie - theres no better feeling as being in the water smile And my uncle, well trust me, he is one of the smartest dude in our family. He is around 45 but I can bet he doesn't look like - the positives of being a farmer where working out is a way of life grin
Your shot really captures the feeling one gets when you dive.
Thomas Mathew: Thanx Anup smile

Oooh, I know places where it's scary to walk under the trees, almost as if you're sure somebody's following you even though there's nobody there.

This looks a wonderful place to swim and play, I can understand you wanting to spend many hours there. smile
Thomas Mathew: You are right - it is a great place for a swim. Its so much better than the stagnant water of swimming pools in the cities - Worth the scary walk grin
smile Funny and well done !
