Time Tested

A close-up of the Pillars that have been at the Qutub complex even before the Mosque and the Minar were constructed. By the time I covered the rest of the complex, it was dark and I had to click these pillars at a high exposure in the available light with makeshift arrangements to keep my camera still.

Being here, specially at night with the lights on, gave me a feel of how life was during those days. The illumination then, of course would have been from clay lamps rather than the modern electric bulbs. But the music would definitely have been live and life definitely worth living, if you were a royal :-)

The colors and lighting are really exquisite, Thomas. Those columns are really amazing, especially since it looks like each one is different.
Thomas Mathew: Thanx Ginnie. The pillars aren't different from each other. Thats what I was impressed about - even without modern machines, they craved each pillar as an exact copy of the other with their hands.

Such light shots are soo difficult (have to agree with Vini), but you've done it again Thomas. It must have been quite something to be a royal then smile
