Gettin into the groove

A dance troupe performing at the Mela. Those huge drums are called Nagadas and they make real cool thumping sound - better than surround stereo ;-) The best part about the group is the rythm that all of them maintain - the sound of all those intruments, the tune of the folksongs and the dancers moves, are all simply magnetic. When I reached this place, the performers were just warming up before getting into the groove and there was hardly any visitor to this side of the fair, but once they started, the place swarmed with people from all sides and soon the crowd too joined in the dancing and fun.

Another brilliant pic, Thomas! I am loving this series. The guy on the right with tennis shoes, as well as the one in the back, gave me a nice laugh. smile
Thomas Mathew: Thanx Ginne smile Actually the guy with the tennis shoes seems to be more absorbed into getting into a pose than his performance grin
Very well done, though I'm no sure about the leaned ange...
Have a nice sunday ! smile
Thomas Mathew: Thanx Zeb. I have this thought that action shots (specially dance floor ones) look cool with a tilted angle grin
