photoblog image On the eve of D-Day

On the eve of D-Day

This is the same tree that was featured yesterday. There's a ground next to it which is used for wedding parties. That is a Shamiana being put up there for a wedding supposed to happen the next day. Weddings in India are mostly a costly affair with a lot of pomp & show involved. The budgets run into a few hundred thousand Rupees on an average wedding and high-end weddings don't cost anything less than a few millions.

This is the smoothest shot ever I have managed from my camera. I was never satisfied with depth in my shots, but this one has come out perfectly.
