Guarding his flock

I saw this shepherd while driving around Gurgaon looking for something to click. He belongs to a group of nomad families who travel with their flock from Jodhpur in Rajasthan towards the northern points of the Aravali Ranges in Gurgaon and Faridabad, every winter. I'll post a color version tommorow - the turban is very colorful, worth seeing in color, but this shot looked better in B&W, maybe I'm too carried away with my B&W series this week :-)

Thanks to everyone for taking time to visit and leave comments. You guys have really inspired me to improve - I'm still trying to get better with every shot.

A good one..rustic touch is always soothing, i really really admire the shepherd with his sheeps in the grey..but the skyscrappers at the back are spoiling the aesthetics...and dont seem to blend properly with the semi rustic shoot.

An unusual picture, nice idea in B&W even if I wonder about light ?
