Wish I had got the whole bird in the frame. I remember this as a clear case of the problem of plenty. There were so many sea-gulls on the beach of Whitby that I got confused which one to click. Now I remember the old Jungle rule - when a predator chases its target from among a large number of prey, it has its eyes fixed on one and doesn't get confused by other possible targets that might seem closer. It keeps following the one it originally set out for. In simpler terms - its all about focus. You gotta focus - thats what I'll tell myself the next time and hopefully get a better shot :)
